ABOUT

A great overview of the entire city: See the French Quarter, the Garden District, City Park, St. Louis Cemetery no. 3, Treme, the Superdome and the Ninth Ward! This tour covers approximately 40 square miles and your guide is a New Orleans native.

Do it early in your trip: We recommend you do this excursion early in your trip. Because it is so comprehensive, you'll get a great idea of everything there is in the Big Easy. It may well give you an idea of where you'd like to explore in depth on your own.

Two Hours or Three Hours: Both tours cover the French Quarter, Garden District, City Park, St. Louis Cemetery No. 3 and parts of the Ninth Ward. The 3 hour tour spends more time in the Lower Ninth Ward, where Hurricane Katrina was the most devastating. The two hour tour visits most of the same NOLA spots at a slightly faster pace.

Hotel Pick Up Included: We will pick you up at most French Quarter, Central Business District and Garden District Hotels and drop you back off after the tour is over.  If you are staying somewhere outside of our pickup area, we will arrange for you to meet our coaches at one of our regular pick up locations.

Comfortable Vehicles, Knowledgeable Guides: Our transportation is provided by comfortable, climate-controlled mini-coaches. These luxury buses seat approximately 30 people, with roomy seating and clean interiors.  Our guides are all licensed by the City of New Orleans, Louisiana, and are expert local historians.

Where we go

French Quarter: The French Quarter is the oldest part of the city. You'll see Jackson Square, St. Louis Cathedral, Cafe Du Monde and the French Market. The architecture here is amazing and you'll feel like you are in another time and place.

Garden District: A beautiful neighborhood with interesting architecture, gorgeous gardens, and celebrity homes, including the former home of author Anne Rice and the current homes of film stars Sandra Bullock and John Goodman.

Cemetery: You'll visit St. Louis Cemetery No. 3, one of the largest cemeteries in New Orleans. You'll get out of the coach and walk around for 15 minutes or so with your tour guide. You'll hear about our burial customs and see the above-ground tombs.

City Park: One of the largest parks in the United States, known for its live oak trees once used for dueling, modern art museum, amusement park and concert grounds. You'll stop at a cafe in the park for a restroom and refreshment break about halfway through your tour.

Hurricane Katrina & the Ninth Ward: You'll see areas affected by Hurricane Katrina and the rebuilding efforts like the Brad Pitt Make it Right Foundation homes and Harry Connick's Musicians' Village.

Other highlights: You'll also go past the Superdome, the World War II museum and Treme, the neighborhood that Louis Armstrong once called home that birthed much of early jazz and rock and roll music.

Private tours may be available. Please call us for details: 888-481-8188.
